SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

First, select from the drop down the organization you are requesting funds from. Then, list the scholarship you earned, the year you won them,  and their value (ex: Miss Congeniality, 2021, $100). Finally, enter the amount of the funds you are requesting. If requesting funds from the state organization, you will need a letter from each local organization you earned scholarship money with, stating that you have used all of the funds you earned from their organization.

REQUEST DOCUMENTATION

TUITION

You must submit a copy of a current bill from your institution to use funds for active tuition or on-campus room and board. The bill must be a PDF and must include the following information:

STUDENT LOANS

You must provide copies of the following documentation to use your scholarships for student loans

1. Proof that coursework is complete - this can be a copy of your degree or a copy of your transcript with your graduation date
2. A promissory note indicating that you are the primary payer on your student loans. This can be found online in your student loan account documents
3. A copy of your most recent bill, which must include the following
   • Your name
   • Your account number
   • The balance due (cannot be less than the amount requested)
   • No older than 30 days

ACADEMIC EXPENSES

You must provide copies of the following documentation to use your scholarships for Academic expenses

1. A copy of your course syllabus or a letter from a program administrator on school letterhead listing the books or equipment as required. Use of scholarship funding for technology and equipment is limited to $2,000.
2. An itemized receipt no more than 60 days old. Only the items on the receipt which fit the above requirements and Miss America Guidelines for Scholarship Use will be reimbursed.
